In winter, ski out to 37 inches of powder on uncrowded slopes. For those who know of our little ski-in, ski-out secret, the charm and adventure of The Qanuk continues through spring and summer with hiking, fat biking, rafting, fishing, and breathtaking views.

Wondering where to stay in Fernie with a group? You can easily house 10 adults and 6 children (several families) in 3,600 square feet of luxurious comfort, knowing that right outside your door is a magnificent world of mountains, rivers, forests, and lakes just waiting for you to explore. We provide Fernie’s most convenient lodging and accommodations; nature provides the rest!

Whitewater rafting season begins in late May and runs through late August. The whole family can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, and supsquatch adventures. In the summer you can test your endurance on uphill and downhill bike trails and motocross.

When the mountains and forests begin to turn their colors toward winter, you can experience fly fishing surrounded by beauty you can’t find anywhere else in North America.
