Watched over by Mount Fernie and the Three Sisters, The Qanuk ski resort near Vancouver can accommodate several families or groups—10 adults and six children—with more than 334 square meters (3600 sq ft) of luxurious space.
Even if you’re not into skiing, the best part about The Qanuk at Fernie is that every season brings new adventures! If you’re a nature fan, springtime in the Elk Valley offers scenic alpine hikes through budding wildflower meadows and wildlife emerging from their long hibernation. During the summer, it’s all music, festivals, food, golf, lazy floats on our many rivers and more than 50 lakes, and world-class fly fishing. And when the flurry of fall activity gets to be too much in the city, you won’t find anywhere in the world more peaceful than our mountain lodge and resort near Vancouver.
We built The Qanuk ski resort near Vancouver with two nearly identical levels, each one with easy access to a shared basement of foosball, billiards, darts, and other fun activities, and with walk-out access to a patio equipped with a gas grill for outdoor entertainment and cooking. There’s also a private, 6-person hot tub with a perfect view of the snow-capped peaks.
Both levels offer:

This is the place to stay! Just walk across the street to the hills to ski and snowboard, and after hours you can take the kids sliding there as well! The house itself has 2 kitchens and 6 complete bedrooms (2 are amazingly beautiful master bedrooms)! The games room in the basement is great for all ages and the hot tub is great!
This place is fantastic. Directly across from the hill (you can take the t bar up to get your lift tickets if you haven’t gotten them in advance). Games room in the basement was awesome and definitely didn’t expect it to be decked out the way it was. The layout was great, and the house has everything you would need to enjoy your stay, including multiple glove and boot warming setups. Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a place to stay close to the hill.
Exceeded our expectations!! Way bigger in person! The top two floors are duplicates of each other, multiple bedrooms, stunning master suites and two full kitchens on both floors. Both floors equipped with washer & dryer and their own climate control. 4 decks! Bottom one being incredibly huge with the hot tub. Basement/hot tub floor entrance is entirely the game room, pool table and bar seating area with mini keg access! Would 10/10 recommend and stay again!
